Our nominated work entailed a lot of testing, analysing and strategy, as we had to start from scratch with no historical conversion data to utilise. We implemented smart shopping, search, display and even YouTube to help us reach as many people as possible. As Ramsdens was brand new to Google Ads, many people may not have realised that they offered an Ecommerce service, so it was imperative that we got the brand out there, whilst also reaching the clients 3 month target of a 500% return on investment.
We separated campaigns out by product type and brand so we could serve highly relevant ads to people that were searching for products that Ramsdens sold. From here we could take a more focused approach by prioritising highly profitable product lines and priority products. This has served Ramsdens well and 2022 was a record breaking year for the business.
We were able to achieve Ramsdens’ target in month 3, perfectly on schedule. Since then the account has gone from strength to strength. The client has entrusted us with a 510% increase in budget, which has resulted in an 800% increase in spend since they first started Google Ads.
