Best Healthcare Campaign – SEO Results You Can’t Get Rid Of
Your Sexual Health is one of our oldest clients and has been with us from the start. They have been a part of our awards success for the last three years, having previously won a Northern Digital award in 2023 and shortlisted again in 2024, highlighting the ongoing success of this campaign.
Our overall goal with Your Sexual Health was to position them as the leading private STD testing provider in the UK for those looking for fast, convenient and discreet sexual health testing. We aimed to achieve a minimum of 25% YoY increase in brand awareness metrics as well as strengthening YSH’s backlink profile.
To achieve our goals, we focused on creating easy-to-read, digestible, in-depth blogs covering the most widely asked STD-related questions. Alongside new content, we optimised old blogs with SEO potential, ensuring they were brought up to date with fresh data and content that actually answers user questions straight away. Each blog featured strong CTAs educating users about the private options available through YSH.
As part of a PR campaign, we also commissioned exclusive research to reveal how many Brits have unprotected sex whilst on a stag or hen do. We created onsite content for journalists to link to, as well as graphics and press releases pulling out the most shocking stats from the survey. To explain the data in the press release and add credibility, we leveraged insights from Dr Bani (YSH’s Medical Director).
We were working with a limited budget, compared to competitors, and indirect competitors, like the NHS. This required us to be budget-conscious throughout to maintain campaign momentum. Despite this, we achieved strong results:
- 15.5% YoY increase in overall revenue
- 25% increase in PPC conversion rate
- Traffic increased by 34.92% YoY
- 68% increase in top three rankings
- 88.54% increase in total ranking keywords
- One optimised blog in particular saw a 1663% traffic spike from May to September, now generating 2.2K users monthly.
- 46 media placements across digital, print and social from PR efforts
- 14 backlinks from high DA sites
- Domain authority increased from 33 to 37
At Wildcat Digital, we’re currently working on a five-year plan to become one of the top digital agencies in the UK, with a triple-digit headcount and seven-figure revenue. If our continued awards success is anything to go by, it’s safe to say we’re excited to see what the future holds.
