At Feel Created, we’re delighted to have been shortlisted in the Best Website category for our work with the sixth form college group, Venn Colleges Group (Venn). The shortlisting is all the sweeter because it’s our first entry into the Northern Digital Awards. Although, due to the easy entry process and regular communication from the Northern Digital Awards team, we’re pretty sure it won’t be our last.
We’re a small agency with big ambitions, so we’re thrilled to have been shortlisted against such a competitive field. Our agency specialises in custom web design, development and integrations, and we’ve recently added marketing services to our roster. We find that marketing strategy and copywriting support help our clients to bring their website visions to life quickly and more effectively. We aim to continue growing, bringing ever greater value to clients looking to enhance their online presence.
Our close-knit team works out of the Nostell Estate, based on the National Trust site Nostell Priory in West Yorkshire. It’s a beautiful place to work and great for team morale and wellbeing, with plenty of parklands in which to walk the office dog, Pickle. It’s also not a bad place to meet clients either, with a café onsite that’s perfect for al fresco coffee!
Winning the best website award in the 2022 programme would mean the world to us and our client, Venn. We worked together to develop a modern, engaging WordPress content management system (CMS) site that acts as an online resource tool with searchable lessons and videos for students and staff.
The Venn website was created during the pandemic, which was a challenging period for the contributing staff. But due to close collaboration between teams, it was launched on deadline. We’re particularly pleased that the website has been well received as a trusted resource when many societal changes disrupted the students’ sense of normality and contributed to uncertainty about their futures.
Purpose-based initiatives are central to our agency ethos. As well as supporting some amazing clients in the education, charity and health and social care sectors, we do what we can as a team to reduce our impact on the world around us. We’re proud to be a carbon-neutral supplier and contribute to carbon offsetting and tree planting each month in partnership with environmental agency Ecologi.
Being recognised in the Northern Digital Awards 2022 is so important to us because it shows that small businesses can make an impact. Here’s hoping for the win!
